Before you head over to YouTube to create your channel you need a Google account. This won't take long and some of you may even already have one.
Once you've got your Google account, you can head over to YouTube and set up your amazingly appropriate account (and channel).
When setting this up, you'll be asked to name your channel. If it’s a business venture you should use the business name but if not, use something unique and memorable. This will be the name you use when promoting your videos so 'Number 1 YouTube God' probably isn't a good one to go for.
After you have a name, you’ll be asked a couple of questions, have to tick a few boxes and then you'll be redirected to your new channel - hooray!
