The role of Business Support in Brewin Dolphin is to ensure that our clients receive the best service possible and our Investment Managers and Financial Planners are fully supported in providing the best Wealth Management and advice.

Training to be provided:

  • You will work towards a Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Business Administration delivered by Gateshead College.

  • You may also be required to complete functional skills Maths, English and IT.

Expected duration: 24 Months

Hours per week: 35 hours, 9am -5pm Monday – Friday 1hr unpaid lunch

Annual Salary: £13,500.00

Job description:


  • Adhere to both FCA regulatory requirements and industry standard best practice

  • To carry out all administrative duties within the defined Brewin Dolphin procedures

  • Demonstrate clear and polite communication skills at all times with all members of BD staff and those working for external agencies

  • Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times

  • To escalate any major issues to management in a timely manner

  • Ensure that all work is accurate and of good quality

  • To provide additional resource to other departments in times of high business levels as required

  • To supply a high level of service to all areas of the business


    Job Specific

  • Take ownership of your own workload ensuring you have all relevant information needed to complete tasks efficiently and effectively

  • Produce MI when required

  • Interaction and communication with relevant departments and stakeholders within Brewin Dolphin

  • Various administrative duties

  • Communication with the Brewin Dolphin branch network (where necessary)
