We are rapidly growing and are looking for bubbly, enthusiastic and engaging people to join our fun team. We are looking to recruit a game host to help assist with looking after customers before and during their Escape Room experience.

What is your role?

  • Take on host/ greeter duties – getting into character to host live escape games for diverse teams of 2-12 people ensuring a fantastic experience from the moment they step through our doors.
  • Welcoming- you will greet participants with a smile and as a host you will take them through their Never Give Up experience in a bubbly, enthusiastic way.
  • Preparing- you will need to set up the escape rooms for each new game session and ensure all props are in proper working order (and in the right places).
  • Monitoring the CCTV of the team whilst they are in the final epic room, King Tuts Tomb. Giving clues where necessary and making sure the game is running smoothly.
  • Resetting the room when they leave- making sure that everything is put back in the right place and ready for the next team.
  • Cleaning- taking responsibility for the general upkeep and cleaning of the venue in between bookings to ensure that rooms are generally kept tidy and presentable.
  • Social media- sending out blogs, photos etc. on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.

Requirements

  • Ambassador of the brand- the impression you leave on the players will be beneficial for the growth of Never Give Up Newcastle so friendly and charming personalities are essential!
  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You can remain calm and resilient while under pressure in a faced paced environment.
  • Good understanding of social media.
