Business Administration Apprenticeship level 2, including on-site training related to finance and school administration.

Expected course duration: 12 months

Number of hours: 37 hours

Working pattern: To be confirmed, approximate working hours: 8.00am - 4.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

  • Efficiently undertake basic administration and clerical duties, which may include the following duties as directed

  • Data input, data extraction, photocopying, filing and typing duties as directed

  • To support the team to maintain accurate, timely and legible records

  • To answer/deal with queries, both face to face and via the telephone, take messages and pass them on to the relevant member of staff in an appropriate and timely manner

  • To provide appropriate reception cover as and when required

  • To meet and greet visitors as required

  • To maintain filing systems on line with the Academy’s policies and procedures

  • Assisting with the co-ordination of events

  • Support financial systems, processing invoices and collating financial reports

  • Supporting the attendance officer with data exercises and administration

  • To be a flexible and supportive team member

  • To maintain strict confidentiality at all times


Desired skills:

  • Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, access and Outlook

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
