Description

The role will involve greeting customers and providing a high standard of customer service in a large retail flooring store. Advising customers, supporting them to make a choice and selling a wide range of flooring products is an important aspect of the role.

Training to be provided:

Retailer level  2
Functional skill maths and English, if not already achieved 
Point of sale training
Customer service
Health and safety training
Sales training
Stock control
Warehouse training

Expected course duration: 15 months

Number of hours: 38 hours

Working pattern: 5 working days spread across 7 days. Unpaid break of 45 minutes.

Salary: £171 per week

Job description:

Work in a busy flooring retail shop. Learn how to operate in all areas of the business. Vacancies are available in 3 locations, Newcastle, Sunderland and Stockton. 

Warehouse: 

  • Incorporate processing procedures of goods in and goods out

  • Deal with contractors collecting daily work

    Sales: 

  • Listen to customers needs and wants

  • Dealing with them correctly and helping them find suitable products to match their criteria

  • To assist this full product training will be given

    Administration: 

  • Process all daily sales

  • Stock management and stock control

  • Adhering to all health and safety
